Holiday Group Cricket Training

During the Holidays we are running group cricket sessions at the University of Queensland Cricket Club. To ensure each session is of a high standard, groups will have between 6-12 players of similar skill level and there will be one coach (Accredited Cricket Australia Coach that has played at 1st Grade Level) to every 5-6 boys.

Physical Preparation/Warm-up (15-20min)

Mobility, Flexibility and Dynamic Warm-Up Exercises

Each session will start with education about how to warm up properly. Particular focus will be placed on the hips, shoulder and thoracic spine which is very relevant to cricket given it is a rotational based sport.

Fielding (30min)

Basic throwing, catching and movement skills with a speed and agility component.

Net Session (60-90min)

In one of the nets, a coach works with each batsman one on one. The other two nets are run by another coach where bowlers and batsmen are working to specific game plans.

 Video Analysis

During the session, some video will be taken for analysis and review.


The dates we are looking at are the 9th ,  10th , 16th and 17th of January 


$75 per session

Fruit and Drinks will be provided
