Sports Performance Training

In order to excel in any sport, an athlete must supplement their skills training with a good strength and conditioning program. By increasing the athlete’s level of general physical preparedness, they will enhance sport specific movements, improve recovery time after strenuous training and develop the physiological qualities necessary for their sport.

Every athlete will benefit from a performance enhancing program regardless of their age or ability level. Each training program is designed to be age appropriate and progressive. It is essential for young athletes to begin training while learning proper form to maximize injury prevention and learn the correct movement patterns. This will transfer into their sport allowing them to improve their skills at a much faster rate, thus improving their on-field performance which makes for a much HAPPIER and CONFIDENT athlete.

One on One Training

Strength- Strength training with a functional approach and thorough instruction. Attention to the whole body (Upper Body Training, Lower Body Training & Core Strength and Stability)

Speed- Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Footwork

Explosive Power- Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Medicine Ball Exercises, Jumping & Landing Techniques

Flexibility, Mobility and Activation- Self Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling etc.), various forms of Stretching and Muscle Activation

Conditioning- Game Ready Preparation for all Athletes

Nutritional Education- Nutritional Tips, Advice and Recommendations

Online Strength and Conditioning Program Design

In an ideal world I would prefer to coach each and every one of my clients several times per week but this would be not only costly for the client, but time intensive as a coach, and there are simply not enough hours in the day to do this. The Online Strength and Conditioning Program is a very versatile service as it allows anyone (athletes, coaches or fitness enthusiasts) to get their training program delivered through an online interface that can be accessed from anywhere in the world as long as they have the internet and a computer.

I have access to a database of over 350 different exercises, which have been professionally filmed and edited in high definition format. The library of exercises comes from Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, the Number 1 gym in America. They have worked with elite sporting teams and professional athletes in a variety of sports. From this database of exercises I design programs using XPS trainer software which each client will have access to once they sign up.

It provides every athlete with ongoing correspondence to track their progress and continually strive to achieve their goals. The online training service is results-driven and is customized for each individual. This is not a one size fits all program as every athlete has different strengths and weaknesses in their body. The program will be tailored to suit every client’s needs i.e., how much time they can commit to the training, what equipment they have access to (don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment or gym) and where they are at physically.
